The short version: this website shares general information. Any bookkeeping or payroll work we do for you is covered by a separate written engagement agreement, and that agreement controls if it ever differs from these terms.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of mapletreebk.com and to any inquiry, discovery call, or other interaction with Maple Tree Bookkeeping LLC ("Maple Tree," "we," "us," or "our"). By using this website or contacting us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Maple Tree Bookkeeping LLC is a bookkeeping and payroll services company based in Missouri. We provide virtual services to cash-pay holistic health practices across the United States.
We provide bookkeeping, payroll, financial reporting, setup and training for QuickBooks, and bookkeeping clean-up services. The scope, fees, timelines, and responsibilities for any client work are set out in a written engagement agreement signed by both parties. No client relationship is formed by visiting this website, submitting a form, or booking a discovery call. A client relationship begins only when an engagement agreement is signed.
We are bookkeepers. We are not a CPA firm or a law firm, and we do not provide tax, legal, or investment advice. Blog posts, guides, and other content on this website are for general information only and may not apply to your situation. Please consult a licensed CPA, tax professional, or attorney before making tax, legal, or financial decisions.
Discovery calls are free and come with no obligation. Anything we discuss on a call is general in nature. Recommendations become part of our work only once they are included in a signed engagement agreement.
When you work with us, you agree to:
You remain responsible for your business decisions, your financial statements, and the filing and payment of your taxes.
Fees, billing schedules, and payment terms are described in your engagement agreement.
We treat your financial information as confidential and use it only to provide our services. Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use and protect it.
You agree not to misuse this website. That includes attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, submitting false information, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

This website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We work to keep information accurate and up to date but do not guarantee that it is complete or current.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maple Tree Bookkeeping LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or reliance on its content. Liability for client services is governed by your engagement agreement.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
